Mobile Collaborative Education Consulting (MCEC) works with universities and corporate partners to develop key Mainframe (MF) classes. All students are issued Mainframe IDs and must demonstrate the ability to log on to an IBM mainframe, without assistance, and complete multiple classroom assignments operating in a traditional green screen environment.Students participate in interactive classroom sessions to build programming libraries, copying over existing programs, and then editing those programs to provide new functionality.
• Programming languages: COBOL, CICS, Assembler, Rexx, Python, JavaScript
• Agile project management methodology approach
• IBM’s DB2 relational database & SQL
• Exposure to JCL and basic instruction on the mainframe facilities for program development (TSO/ISPF/SDSF)
We help universities equip students with the new skill sets and knowledge base requirements that will make them more competitive, in this new global market economy, and to meet the
